From 20th Century Glass.com: Ekenas Glasbruk, a Swedish glassworks, was founded in 1917 by R. Stahl and Hjalmar Stahl, who formally worked at Orrefors. In 1922, Sven Westberg bought the company, and was the manager until he died in 1962. It was then ran by Claes Tell and his son until the company closed in 1976. Designers at the factory John Orwar Lake and Michael Bang. Here is a glass decanter made by Ekenas Glassworks (1917-1976). It is approximately 10 inches tall and holds 6 cups (48 ounces). It is a very beautiful piece and solid. There are no nicks, chips, or cracks on this decanter and the cork is fine. It is considered used, but it is in good condition. The beginning photos now are taken against a darker background to do the glass/crystal pieces justice. [I took the second picture after I emptied water out of it, so this is why it has water droplets in it.]-This is for the light background photographs. It is a solid, smooth piece of glass.
