Oneida USA Du Maurier silver plated tea/coffee set (no sugar lid)
From Oneida USA, here is a silver plated tea/coffee pot, creamer, and sugar dish set. Again I must apologize, but I looked everywhere for the lid for the sugar dish and couldnt find it anywhere. The name of the pattern is called Du Maurier (pattern 8038), and from replacements.com shows this pattern was discontinued 1967-2004. The tea/coffee pot measures approximately 8 ½ inches tall to the rim and 10 ½ inches from top to bottom, and 10 ½ inches from handle to spout wide. The creamer measures approximately 3 inches and the sugar bowl approximately 4 ¾ inches. All three pieces needed to have the tarnish removed and I used Wrights silver cream to do so. I didnt find much damage to any of the pieces. You might find some white powder residue left behind from my polishing. The tea/coffee pot had body damage and I sent it to Trio Silversmiths for repair. They did a great job! All the pieces are ready for use-cleaned inside and polished on the outside.
